Ok, I know it’s still 2009 but this is the last chance I’ll have before the new year to put up a post. I wanted to let you know about some updates to the site. Click on “Pictures” and “Songs” to see and listen to some great things we did in December. Also, if you look right below this post, you’ll see our second episode of Talk Show.
Alright, that’s all folks! Enjoy the rest of your vacation and I’ll see you on Monday, January 4th!
Yesterday we went for a walk in our neighborhood to do a little community service and clean up the area a bit. We also kept track what kind of pollution we found. We were aghast that in the short distance from Sequoia to Dimond Park, there was so much trash! In the weeks to come, we’ll be learning about what we can do at home and at school to take better care of our environment. Enjoy the pictures!
Last week, we had a wonderful docent from the Oakland Museum come to Room 14 and teach us about the California Indians. She brought in a lot of artifacts and tools that the natives actually used. Here are some pictures from her visit!
Hello Room 14 families! In case you lost or didn’t get the handout I sent home, click Room 14 Field Trips, 2009-2010 to download the list of field trips we have planned for next year. Please e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested in chaperoning for any of these trips. Thanks!
