Room 14, along with other classrooms and schools all across California, went on a peaceful demonstration around the Dimond neighborhood with these wonderful, student-made signs protesting the budget cuts to our schools. Fight on!

A big congratulations to our very own Alisa, Maylana, Evan, Marcus and Cortez for their rendition of “Harriet Tubman – The Remix.” They will be representing Sequoia on February 12 at the District Regional Competition. Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend! Last week, students had an opportunity to memorize portions of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech. These 5 students memorized the entire excerpt! I’m so proud of them! Please take a listen, and please leave a comment!
