Happy Thanksgiving Room 14! Hope you have a wonderful week off and a safe, blessed holiday. Remember to count your blessings during this season of thanksgiving!
Below are some pictures of Room 14 students with their buddies with the turkeys they made together. Enjoy!
This is a slightly overdue post, but on October 30 we had our annual Sequoia Halloween Parade. Here are some pictures from the parade, and our classroom bash afterwards. Enjoy!
Hi everyone, and happy October! Take a look at the “Songs” tab for our latest Room 14 studio recording. Also, Monthly Book Report (MBR) forms and directions were sent home today. You can always download them by clicking on the “Forms” tab. Finally, if you’d like to see some samples of dioramas (which is what students will have to do as part of their MBR), click here!
We aim to do a lot of reading in Room 14 this year, and a lot of that will happen on the couch! I think we’re one of the only classes at Sequoia with a room large enough to house one of these. Lucky us!
Hello 2009-2010 Room 14! Welcome back from summer vacation. Today was a great first day and I’m excited to start off the year with high expectations. Go ahead and explore the website to get a feel for what we might be doing this year.
Also, if you misplaced your newsletter, you can download a copy by clicking on “Forms” on the navigation bar right above this post.
Oh, and below is a picture of our class from today. (You can click on it to make it bigger.) Enjoy! =)
Since we’re already into the 2nd week of summer vacation (did week 1 fly by or what?!), I thought it’d be a good time to wish everyone a great summer! I’m not sure how much traffic our class site will get over the summer, but I just want to say once again that it’s been a pleasure being your teacher this past year and I will miss you all over the summer!
Here’s the cover of our class yearbook. If you lost your copy, just send me an e-mail and I’ll send a copy to you via e-mail so you can print it out again! Cheers!
Today, hundreds of Sequoia students took to the streets (well, the school perimeter to be exact) to raise money for our school! Thanks to everyone who participated!
In this week’s edition of our Poetry Slam, Group 4 (Tranay, Bridgette, Clarisse, Izabella, Antwan, Jasmine and Matanda) took home the prize for best group recitation of “This Is Just to Say” by William Carlos Williams. Take a listen!
