The Wizard of Oz

Today in class we watched the timeless classic The Wizard of Oz in preparation for our upcoming Monthly Book Reports (MBRs). The MBR asks students to write about different story elements (protagonist, antagonist, conflict, setting, etc.), and this film is a perfect model for discussion about those elements.  Stay tuned for more info about the MBR!

Check out the Songs tab! We’ve posted “Fifty Nifty United States” (a great song to learn all 50 states in alphabetical order) and soon we’ll post a class favorite, “Lean On Me.” Yeah!
